Located in the quiet village of Clackmannan in the heart of Scotland’s central belt, this two-bedroom flat is all about location. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect base for a holiday or working trip: the historic city of Stirling is just 20 minutes away, and both the bustling cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the bonny banks of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are all within an hours drive.
The Tollbooth is located in the centre of Clackmannan, overlooking the historic Tollbooth. It is a traditional upper flat with a bright and modern interior. The flat has recently been updated throughout, including a new fully equipped kitchen. The stylish lounge includes a large l-shaped couch perfect for relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine in front of the television. There’s also a comfy armchair ready for curling up with a good boo, plus a dining table that seats four. Down the hall, there are two bright and freshly-decorated bedrooms (1 double, 1 single + trundle), as well as a modern main bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Clackmannan is known for its connections to Robert The Bruce and it's an easy walk from The Tollhouse to the historic Clackmannan Tower. The town itself has takeaway options or it’s a 7-minute drive to the larger town of Alloa with a wide selection of restaurants and shops.
Take a day trip to the big cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow - they’re both within an hour’s drive, and you can also catch the train to Glasgow or Stirling from Alloa.
There are loads of local attractions to visit too, with Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies all within a half-hour drive. If you’re a keen walker, the majestic Ochil Hills are on your doorstep and offer stunning views over the region.
