Description
If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in the heart of the Strathearn Valley, Perthshire, you’ll love Earnside Cottage. Located in Comrie village centre with uninterrupted views over the River Earn, it’s the perfect blend of convenience and tranquillity.
Comrie is the perfect base for tourists and families looking to explore the delights of Perthshire, from stunning glens, mountains and rivers to waterfalls and wildlife.
This traditional three-bedroom cottage is light-filled and modern inside. There is a comfortable, spacious lounge with a TV with Freeview and two couches, plus a dining room with seating for 6. This leads to the modern, fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a self-catering break.
With three bedrooms (1 king size, 2 twin) there is room for the whole family. There’ll be no bathroom queues either, as there’s a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, plus one of the twin rooms has an en-suite shower room.
Outside there’s a neat and spacious enclosed garden, although you may find it hard to tear your eyes from the stunning views from the front of the cottage!

LOCATION
Earnside Cottage is tucked away behind Comrie High Street, so you can enjoy the river views while only being a quick walk to local restaurants, pubs and shops.
Comrie is in the heart of the scenic West Strathearn area of Perthshire, where Glens Lednock and Artney meet, making it a great base for exploring Perthshire.
The bustling market town of Crieff is just six miles away with an excellent choice of cafés, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are attractions such as Caithness Glass Visitor Centre and The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery.
Families will love also a trip to Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, home to a variety of exotic and more familiar wildlife. Take a day trip to the city of Perth, just 25 miles east, where you can visit the famous Scone Palace or enjoy a stroll along the River Tay.
Perthshire is particularly great for walkers with options for all levels, from the Glenlendock Circular Walk that starts in Comrie, the beautiful and wheelchair-friendly Lady Mary’s Walk at Crieff, to the soaring Munros of Ben Vorlich, Stuc a Chorin and Ben Chonzie.
If you prefer to walk with a golf club in hand you’re spoiled for choice with quality local courses, or the famous Gleneagles is just half an hour’s drive away.
Welcome to Earnside Cottage, enjoy your riverside retreat!
Comrie is a picturesque Perthshire town with fantastic walks and moutain bike trails. Close-by to Crieff, which also has a lot to offer in the way of restaurants and coffee shops.
Private parking at the property for 2 cars. Depending on how adventurous you're feeling, a car would certainly be handy to get to and from the base of some of the many adventures you can take part in, e.g. Comrie Croft mountain biking, local distilleries and Lochearn Wake School.
Please note, from January 2025 - March 2025 Comrie Flood Prevention Team will be carrying out work near the front garden of the property. Apologies for this minor inconvenience - we're positive that this will not affect your stay.

The house was very clean, generally in good condition and very handy for Comrie.

We were disappointed not to receive Check-In details automatically from yourselves. We had to chase you up for these on our day of our arrival and it was not easy to contact your office. The situation was made worse as when we stayed at this property 2 years ago the Lockbox code had not worked and as we could not contact your office we went to a neighbour who happened to have a spare key. We had then got into the property and the Manual had another phone number which transpired to be the actual owner. This poor lady's husband had just died which made us feel bad that we had rung the number. When we didn't get Check-in details this time we envisaged similar complications which is not what you are wanting at the start of a two day break.
