Description
You may be inspired to create your very own fairy story when you stay in this gorgeous period property in Kirriemuir. The creator of Peter Pan, J.M. Barrie, was born in the white-washed cottage next door and it’s now a museum dedicated to the famous author and playwright.
As well as exploring this and the town’s rich local history in jute and weaving, there’s easy access to the beautiful Angus countryside with golf, fishing and some of the best hillwalking in Eastern Scotland on your doorstep.
The house is set over two floors with easy access off the street. Downstairs, there’s a bright and spacious lilac-hued lounge plus a fully equipped kitchen in a modern shaker style. You’ll love the Belfast sink and brass tapware plus there’s a handy dining table with seating for four.
Upstairs, there’s a nostalgic feel to the two comfortable bedrooms (one double and one twin) with their pretty wallpapers and sumptuous bedding. This style continues in the main bathroom with its stunning claw-foot roll-top bath, ideal for luxurious bubble-baths! There’s practicality in mind too though with a separate shower cubicle.
KEY FEATURES
• 2 comfortable bedrooms (one double, one twin)
• Stunning Claw-foot roll-top bath
• Bright and spacious lounge area
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Proximity to J.M Barrie birthplace and museum
