29 – 7 days before arrival date = 50% of the booking price.

CHANGES BY THE COMPANY
In case the accommodation could not be occupied because of unforeseen reasons, not attributable to the company, the company has the right to substitute the original accommodation by other with the same or superior characteristics, without any additional payment.

This charming cottage is perfect for a relaxing stay in the country. Set in the peaceful hamlet of Balkeerie, amidst the beautiful scenery of Angus, this comfortable country home has all you need to unwind. You’ve room to roam for miles plus access to nearby national treasures like the stunning, turreted Glamis Castle or Eassie’s Pictish Stone.
The space
The two bedroomed cottage is attached to a large main house but is completely self-contained. There is a front porch, ideal for boots and wellies! The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a cosy electric fire and Smart TV. There’s a modern kitchen with a bright dining area for four and outside there are also garden chairs and a table for eight for any al-fresco dining opportunities!
The bathroom is fresh and modern with an electric shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs are two bedrooms; one is a double bedroom and one is a twin bedroom, both with ample storage.
There’s a large, grassed garden with a children’s playframe and a private parking area.

LOCATION
Kirkgate Cottage is situated in the hamlet of Balkeerie in a very quiet rural area in Angus, north eastern Scotland. The nearest village is Eassie, less than a mile away and Forfar is about 9 miles away and Dundee about 13 miles.
There are several attractions nearby including Glamis Castle and Gardens and the V & A museum in Dundee. The area is also renowned for its excellent farmland and quality, fresh produce such as soft fruits (strawberries, raspberries, etc) and vegetables such as the famous Eassie asparagus.
Dundee has good air, rail, and road links to the rest of the country and Forfar also has excellent road links all round the county.
